Founded in 2018, ‘Imagine’ is an eco-friendly, home-based business in Pembrokeshire offering a variety of design and print services at competitive prices.
Imagine has produced a variety of work for local individuals and businesses, including the following:
Book Editing & Layout,
Duplicate Invoice Pads,
Environmental impact was a major consideration in the decision in 2021 to produce products at home. The equipment was chosen for its combination of eco-friendly running and high quality output. Trimming, punching and stapling are all done by hand. Paper and card are bought from UK suppliers and are FSC certified.
‘Imagine’s prices, while they may not always beat those offered by big commercial printers, are kept as low as possible, with no VAT or hidden extras.
A respector of copyright, ‘Imagine’ purchases licensed typefaces and only uses self-produced or correctly licensed images. All client details are treated with the utmost privacy.
Clients can be assured that their projects, however small, will receive the personal attention they deserve. Accuracy, good English and design excellence are paramount, and nothing goes to press without first being approved by the client.
About the Apple Blossom Café
In case you were wondering if you could visit Somerset’s Apple Blossom Café, we had better come clean: It’s a place of dreams; it’s imaginary; it’s not real.
The purpose of this deception was simply to demonstrate the ‘Imagine’ range of home-printed products in a consistent way. And if it inspires anyone to open a similar café for real, there will be no complaints here!
About the owner
Owner of ‘Imagine’, Patrick Ovenden, has lived in Pembrokeshire for 30 years. He gained a BA (Hons) degree in English at Trinity College, Carmarthen and worked for a few summers at the erstwhile Fountains Café on Tenby’s South Beach before moving to Pembroke Dock.
Shortly afterwards Patrick began a 18-year-long role at the Tenby Observer newspaper. There he produced the annual Summer Guide and monthly Tenby Times supplements as well as designing adverts for clients on a daily basis. It was with this wealth of knowledge and experience that he founded the business now known as ‘Imagine’. He remains a devotee of the ‘Observer’ and provides freelance services when an extra hand is required.
Paddy, as he has come to be known, is a member of a local church fellowship. He is also a keen musician with a few recordings to his name. A fan of the classic rock band The Moody Blues, he is a collector of vinyl records and plays the piano ‘by ear’.
‘Imagine’ has completed a green growth pledge, prioritising sustainability and helping to protect the environment. Click on the logo to learn more.
